El propósito del trabajo es presentar los resultados del proyecto de investigación “Representaciones sociales de las prácticas de los estudiantes de Licenciatura en Educación Física de la Universidad de Córdoba y Trabajo Social de la Universidad del Quindío”. En él se develan representaciones que muestran la práctica como un escenario de oportunidades, de aprendizajes, de confrontación de teorías y como transformación de realidades. De igual forma se descubren los miedos, temores, expectativas y desequilibrios cognitivos que sienten los estudiantes a la hora de abordar su práctica de formación profesional. El fundamento teórico sobre el cual se apoya es la teoría de las representaciones sociales desde el enfoque procesual de Denise Jodelet y los postulados de practica reflexiva de Donald Schön y Philippe Perrenoud. The purpose of this paper is to present the results of the research project "Social representations of the practices of the students of Bachelor in Physical Education from the University of Cordoba and Social Work at the University of Quindio." It will reveal representations that show practice as a scenario of opportunity, learning, confrontation of theories and as a transformation of reality. The same shall discover the fears, expectations and cognitive imbalance felt by students in addressing their practical training. The theoretical foundation on which it rests is the theory of social representations from the procedural approach of Denise Jodelet and the principles of reflective practice and Philippe Perrenoud Donald Schön.
